When she finds it difficult to hide the storm of emotions she was in after meeting those women, she pointed out the absurd situation in which they run away from the man who used violence against them, while he roams freely and terrorizes them.
At the end of her speech, she also appealed to the members of the Knesset to act in order to change the law on the matter.
"Hello, I just returned home. I was in a shelter for women who fled their homes due to violence," Wertheimer wrote in the background of a video she uploaded to Story.
"Amazing, strong and brave women who are in the shelter because the police did not put their violent spouses in prison, and they have no other protection," she said painfully.
"It's a disgrace. It's shocking, and it needs to change," she said.

"Wow, listen, I sat with these women and talked to them, and it's just crazy that the men, who did the things they did to them, are not currently in prison, and that they are literally running away from them from shelter to shelter," she emphasized the absurdity of the situation.
"The law needs to be changed," she emphasized.
"All the men who use violence should be in prison. I'm really speechless," she said with a sad expression.
