Following the investigation on Monday (13th) of a case of 45 kilograms of heroin hidden in the gap between cloth handbags, the Customs revealed another case yesterday (15th) that someone was using the same method of drug trafficking. 47 cloth handbags and heroin were found in an industrial building in Tsuen Wan. 18kg of heroin was contained in a plastic bag and a man was arrested.
The officers then followed the clues to a residence in Tai Po and seized 800 grams of marijuana flower with a total market value of 16 million yuan. The case will be brought up in West Kowloon Magistrates' Court tomorrow (17th).

Li Zhihao, Senior Investigation Officer of the Drug Investigation Group 1 of the Customs Narcotics Investigation Division, explained the case. After an in-depth investigation, the Customs officers locked an industrial building unit in Tsuen Wan yesterday as a drug storage and packaging center. Stopped and checked, and entered the unit for investigation, found 27 cloth handbags and 20 plastic bags containing 18 kilograms of suspected heroin, so he was arrested.
