Li Zhihao, Senior Investigation Officer of the Drug Investigation Group 1 of the Customs Narcotics Investigation Division, explained the case. After an in-depth investigation, the Customs officers locked an industrial building unit in Tsuen Wan yesterday as a drug storage and packaging center. Stopped and checked, and entered the unit for investigation, found 27 cloth handbags and 20 plastic bags containing 18 kilograms of suspected heroin, so he was arrested.

After further investigation, customs officers searched the arrested man's address in Tai Po, and seized 800 grams of suspected marijuana flowers in the bedroom, with a total value of 16 million yuan.

Li Zhihao also said that this is the second time the Customs has detected a cloth handbag drug trafficking case within 3 days. This Monday (13th) officers found a total of 45 kilograms of suspected heroin were placed in the cracks of the cloth handbags, which was packed in the same way as in this case. Customs are trying their best to trace the source of the drugs.
