Alexandra Kotchin, 42 years old from Acre, is the woman who was killed in the tragic accident earlier today (Thursday) in the train accident at Sevidor Center station in Tel Aviv.
According to the testimonies of passers-by, Alexandra was hit by a train, after tripping and falling onto the tracks - apparently following a medical event.
Alexandra immigrated from Ukraine 16 years ago.
She has a 20-year-old brother who serves in the army and an 18-year-old sister who lives in Ukraine.
Kotchin worked in the Raz and lived in the center of the country, and about a year ago she returned to live in Acre with her mother Nadia after she fell ill and needed her help.
Her mother Nadia told Israel Hayom: "Alexandra worked as a nursing assistant for the elderly - she was the center of my life."
The mother described Alexandra as "a special girl who helps everyone, family and friends. This morning she went to a friend of the family in the center, was with him, and on the way back she was killed. I was told she had a seizure and fell at the train station while the train was passing right on the tracks."

The mother elaborated on Alexandra's medical condition and said: "Lately, Alexandra has not been feeling well. She had weakness and dizziness, and yesterday she went to the health fund to have tests. She loved life, traveling and helping others, and was always learning. She had plans for the future and when I got sick, she She dedicated her time to helping me."
The date of the funeral has not yet been set, and as of now, the mother does not know if the body will be released for burial.
The municipality of Acre stated: "The welfare department of the municipality accompanies the family in its difficult moments and helps the family with the religious council in all burial procedures."
