Two Austrian
brothers , tourists
on vacation in Buenos Aires, were
stabbed to death in the La Boca neighborhood
when two
criminals on bicycles
approached them in an attempted
robbery
.
According to the first version, City Police officers went to Pedro de Mendoza street at 1800 after receiving
a 911 complaint
for two Austrian tourists injured by a
knife attack
in the assault.
Upon arrival, the agents verified that the two people were injured, although
without risk of life
, and they were referred by SAME to the Argerich Hospital.
The wounded resisted the robbery and it was in this context that the
bicichorros - a
less frequent
modality
than the motochorros that, by contrast, circulate in human-powered vehicles - attacked and
stabbed
them .
The woman received
cuts on her legs and thighs and has already been discharged
after being
sutured with
s-points.
While the man received a
slight cut in the chest area
, but is also out of danger.

, both born in Austria and staying in the City of Buenos Aires.
The case is being investigated as an attempted robbery and injury by the La Boca District Prosecutor's Office, headed by Susana Callejas.
