In the video: a resident of Rahat tried to escape with a shuttle driven by Shebaim and had a gun in his possession (Israel Police Spokesperson)
A 34-year-old resident of Rahat was arrested yesterday (Wednesday), at the end of a police chase that took place throughout the Bedouin diaspora and after weapons hidden in his vehicle were seized, as well as four illegal residents who were also detained for questioning.
The chase began in the afternoon, after a shuttle bus traveling on Route 40 in the south of the country raised the suspicion of police officers who were there - and they ordered it to stop.
In response, the driver began driving wildly in an attempt to escape.
In the process, the driver got out and started driving in the area of the Bedouin diaspora near Rahat, where he stopped a few minutes later.
In the documentation of the event, you can see the chase, among the scattered houses.
