The President of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, said that he is considering filing a complaint against César de Castro, Genaro García Luna's lawyer, after he mentioned his name during the trial that is taking place. in New York against the former Secretary of Public Security of Mexico.

“I am making a consultation because I am seeing if it is possible for me to file a complaint for moral damages against García Luna's lawyer and those who are responsible in the United States.

The same Wednesday, de Castro told CNN that he was not going to make any comments, neither on the case nor on anything related to the president of Mexico who described him as a "false" and "slanderer" during his press conference.
