A 12-year-old minor recently arrived at a police station in Harish and gave a report from which it was suspected that her parents had abused her.
The police arrested a couple of Harish residents in their 30s on suspicion of continuous abuse of their children.
The police opened an investigation three days ago after the girl was brought in by a resident of the city, who found her crying in the street and from her words it was suspected that her parents had abused her.
Iron station investigators conducted an investigation, in conjunction with child investigators, during which it emerged that the parents used to abuse their three children aged 7, 9 and 12, which included locking them in a room, throwing them on the floor and beating them on a regular basis.
In accordance with the findings of the investigation and the severity of the evidence, the Hadera Magistrate's Court extended their detention until next Sunday.
