Official figures and popular delegations continued to visit Syrian embassies abroad to offer condolences for the victims of the recent earthquake in Syria.

Many partisan delegations visited the headquarters of the Syrian diplomatic mission in Egypt, to offer condolences to the martyrs of the devastating earthquake for the fifth day in a row, calling for an end to the unjust economic blockade on Syria.

Hassan Turk, head of the Democratic Unionist Party, Mr. Al-Adly, head of the Egyptian Youth Party, and Hossam Al-Husseini, Secretary-General of the Green Party, stressed during their visit to the embassy, ​​the need to lift the unilateral Western coercive measures imposed on Syria, which doubled the crisis, calling on the free world to break these restrictions. .

For their part, the members of the Syrian diplomatic mission thanked the party leaders, stressing that the Western dealings with the humanitarian situation in Syria expose its hostile policies.

In Lebanon, the deputy head of the Supreme Shiite Islamic Council, Sheikh Ali al-Khatib, at the head of a delegation from the council, visited today the headquarters of the Syrian embassy in Beirut, and offered condolences for the victims of the earthquake that occurred in Syria.

Al-Khatib said in a statement: We came to the embassy of the Syrian Arab Republic to confirm our solidarity with the Syrian people, and with the Syrian state and its leadership in this calamity and catastrophe that befell our brothers and our people. than it was, to play its role as it has been throughout history.

Al-Khatib added: The unjust Western blockade must be lifted in these tragic moments, and thus Syria must return to playing its role as it has always been.

For his part, the Syrian Chargé d'Affairs in Beirut, Ali Daghman, expressed his thanks for the sincere feelings expressed by Sheikh Al-Khatib, appreciating the fraternal initiatives in brotherly Lebanon to console and help the Syrian people.
