High vigilance in Jerusalem after the series of severe attacks, in which 11 people were murdered in just three weeks. Police forces and the Border Guard demonstrate a large presence in the area, with a special emphasis on checking young Arabs, in order to locate potential terrorists.
A few days after the attack at the Shuafat checkpoint, in which a 13-year-old terrorist stabbed to death a 13-year-old terrorist, an alarming phenomenon of small children with toy guns, imitating the young terrorists, is developing who carried out the latest attacks.

Yehiel, a resident of the Muslim quarter, clarifies: "The situation is now more difficult with the 13-year-olds with the weapons. They protect bus stops instead of stopping the incitement in the schools, entering their homes and seizing the illegal weapons.
"This is a weakness, and I fear that the attacks will continue in Ramadan because we do not have an appropriate response to the attacks. However, it is important that Jews continue to come to the Old City. Last Friday, fewer Jews passed through here on the way to the Western Wall, and this is a mistake because that is exactly what they want."

The Jerusalem District Police told "Israel Hayom" about "increased preparations in all sectors throughout Jerusalem, including increased routine security activity as was the case during the week in the city center and in the east, in the Hatfer neighborhoods and in the Old City."
According to Maor Tzemach, a resident of the Nof Zion neighborhood adjacent to the Jebel Mukaber neighborhood, "There can be no situation where they celebrate Ramadan, and we will pay with terror and blood in the streets. There is a preparation of residents around the synagogues on Saturdays, and they make sure that there is always someone armed in every synagogue. This increases the sense of security. In recent years, Ramadan has been conducted on the basis of incitement. We expect the leadership to provide a remedy for Mecca, and to make it clear to the population in East Jerusalem that silence will be met with silence."

Wishing for peace
In the Arab sector, they are preparing for Ramadan, which will begin in about a month, and wish for quiet days.
A senior official in the eastern part of the city, who asked to remain anonymous for fear of his safety, told Israel Hayom: "The young people are following the incitement, and we are the victims. Our leadership should say that children are out of the game."
"These are the poorest children from disadvantaged families," the senior added.
"They are incited from a young age, and then their homes and families are destroyed. They are exploited through social networks, there is serious incitement there. I heard that even 6-year-old children were incited on the networks to go out and carry out terrorist attacks. Where have we come? This is a shame and a disgrace. Tiktok should be taken down until after Ramadan".

But there are those behind the incitement.
"We are in a very difficult time, and unfortunately the minority is in control. I have no security and meanwhile the poison is defeating us. We want to celebrate Ramadan quietly and peacefully, but the politicians' statements as if there will be a war are heating up the situation. Ben Gabir is no longer a hillbilly youth, he threatens demolitions instead of talking about permits Masonry. He is a minister, who will respect his position.
"We also need to lower our profile. We all suffer from the attacks and it hurts everyone, the merchants and the fabric of life, puts people under pressure. We need to build hope and a future ahead. This is a month for forgiveness and prayers. We need free love, not hate."
