A member of the Russian Zaporozhye Provincial Council, Vladimir Rogov, called on the Kiev authorities to stop blocking water supplies from reaching the Kakhovksoe water reservoir, which is located near the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.

Rogov said in an interview with RIA Novosti today: “The Kiev regime continues its dangerous actions around the Zaporozhye nuclear plant by blocking the flow of water from other hydroelectric stations, including the Dnepropetrovskaya, Sredny Dnepropetrovskaya, Kanevskaya and Kievskaya plants. It is time for the Zelensky regime to stop this madness and restore the water balance of the reservoir.” .

Rogov added, "If the water level continues to drop, there could be an environmental catastrophe for local animals, and the safety of the nuclear plant itself," noting that the international community is not responding in one way or another to Kiev's actions.

Rogov called on the International Atomic Energy Agency and international human rights and environmental organizations to take measures to stop the madness of the Ukrainian authorities.

And media outlets had announced earlier that the water level in the Kakhovskoye water reservoir had dropped to a record, and one of the reasons for this phenomenon is due to the artificial containment of the water flow from the upper waterfalls of the Dnieper River reservoirs, which are under the control of the Ukrainian forces.
