Here we go again for a new epic around the world with the sixteen lucky candidates who participate in "Beijing Express".
During this unprecedented 17th season, which M6 is launching on Thursday February 16 at 9:10 p.m., they will criss-cross part of South America with a journey that begins in La Paz in Bolivia, which then continues in Paraguay ( country unpublished in the show) and ends in Brazil.
The game, presented by Stéphane Rotenberg, will offer many new features including the secret choice rule.
From now on, the pair who will finish in last place will no longer choose their opponents alone.
The other candidates can, in fact, decide to name those they want to send to the final duel.
Eight duos, chosen from 400,000 applications, have the chance to embark on this very special adventure.
We find the usual profiles, with sisters, cousins, couples, and other more original ones like a niece and her aunt or an employee and her boss.

Paloma and Jason: the funny Belgian couple
Very much in love for twelve years, Paloma and Jason come from Mons in Belgium and display a beautiful complicity.
Fusion, they consider themselves on the margins of society and have, for the moment, never had the chance to travel.
They are therefore particularly delighted with this adventure, especially since participating in Beijing Express has always been a dream for the young couple.
Very competitive, they will make their love a force to win the game.
Colette and Léa: Marseille aunt and niece
Colette is extremely close to Léa, her niece, whom she considers her daughter.
It is therefore quite naturally that she chose the latter to live the adventure game of M6.
Passionate about the show “Beijing Express”, she had dreamed of taking part in it for five years and had to wait for Léa to finish her nursing studies to do so.
The two Marseillaises are now more motivated than ever to win.
Cyrille and Luc: the Breton couple
Together for twenty years, Cyrille and Luc live in Quimper in Brittany.
They went through difficult times early in their love life as Luc was married for 22 years and is the father of three daughters.
They finally managed to create a beautiful blended family.
Cyrille has an artistic soul and Luc is more reserved.
Despite their differences in character, they are very complementary.
They embark on the adventure with a lot of desire because they want to make their grandchildren proud.

Alexandra and Laura: the “dog and cat” sisters
Born and living in Neuilly-sur-Seine, Alexandra and Laura are fusional but claim, on the other hand, to have difficulty supporting each other for very long.
After three days together, they admit to arguing systematically!
Alexandra is very organized when Laura, her little sister, relies on spontaneity.
Despite everything, they have several points in common that could be great assets during the adventure, such as their competitive spirit and their great energy.
Fan of the show since childhood, they realize a dream by participating in this adventure.
Tanguy and Florian, candid cousins
Tanguy and Florian are first cousins but were raised as two brothers.
Strengthened by their great complicity, they decided to embark on the “Beijing Express” adventure.
Very young, they have never made a long trip far from Armissan, their village in Aude located near Narbonne and their family.
Highly motivated and seasoned athletes, they intend to make up for their lack of experience with their great competitiveness.
Alexandre and Chirine, the strategist lovers
Chirine, 26, waitress and Alexandre, 33, VTC driver, have been in a relationship for seven months.
However, they know each other well because they had, in fact, been friends for twelve years!
They have been living together for a short time and “Beijing Express” represents their first important experience for both of them.
Chirine is very energetic and has a strong character whereas Alexandre likes to let herself go with a tendency to laziness.
On the other hand, they have the same thirst for winning and are ready to do anything to arrive first.
Xavier and Céline, the boss and employee from Lorraine
Xavier hired Céline in his company ten years ago.
A decade during which they have learned to know and appreciate each other even if they never see each other outside of work.
They are moreover the first participants of “Beijing Express” to be formal!
Céline spent a year in Australia and this trip to the other side of the world gave her a taste for travel.
Xavier, for his part, loves challenges and new experiences, so it was only natural that the employee chose to suggest that her boss go on an adventure with her.
Nathalie and Angie, the strangers
Nathalie, 57, is a young retiree living in Saint-Nazaire.
Married for 31 years, she is more used to going to luxury hotels than backpacking.
By registering alone for "Beijing Express", she wanted to challenge herself and prove to herself and her family that she is capable of going on an adventure.
During the game, she will team up with Angie, a 28-year-old bus driver who lives in Garges-lès-Gonesse and was in the military for five years.
Mother of a four-year-old girl, she is determined, strong-willed, very competitive and dreams of winning the game.
