A 53-year-old firefighter was placed in pre-trial detention on Friday February 17 for corruption of a 15-year-old minor and aggravated pimping, AFP learned from Saint-Brieuc prosecutor Nicolas Heitz.
Confused by a “
pseudonymous investigator during an action to combat child crime by the Saint-Brieuc research brigade
”, the professional firefighter was arrested on February 9 after his line was identified, said Nicolas Heitz.
Placed in police custody for having "
made sexual proposals
" to a 12-year-old girl and, "
aware of her age
", having promised her "
the purchase of a jacket in exchange for sex
", the man admitted the facts before being released on February 10 under judicial supervision pending his judgment, scheduled for June.

"Prostitution Proposals"
But the computer equipment seized during the search revealed new elements in the following days, including “
sexual exchanges with a 14-year-old minor, requests for naked photographs in order to sell them, offers of prostitution with (.. .) couples from the swinging world by setting prices
” still according to the prosecution.
Placed again in police custody on February 15, the fifty-year-old admitted "
three sexual relations with this minor
" who for his part expressed his consent and "
not to have been subjected to coercion
".
A judicial inquiry has been opened on the counts of "
aggravated pimping, sexual proposals made to a 15-year-old minor, corruption of a minor, detention, offer, acquisition and capture of the image of a minor presenting a pornographic character"
.
The prosecutor invites potential victims "
of similar facts, in the context of the use of social networks or the professional exercise of the person concerned
", to come forward.
