A number of Arab and international ambassadors and diplomatic figures in The Hague offered, for the second consecutive day, condolences for the victims of the violent earthquake that struck Syria on the sixth of this month to the permanent Syrian mission to the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons in The Hague-Netherlands.

A large number of ambassadors accredited to the Netherlands expressed solidarity and sympathy with the Syrian government and people in dealing with the repercussions of the earthquake disaster and mitigating its effects.

Among the personalities who offered condolences were the ambassadors of Russia, China, Iran, Algeria, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine, Iraq, Tunisia, the United Arab Emirates, Morocco, Belarus, Cyprus, Venezuela, Cuba, Mongolia, Nicaragua, Ecuador, India, Colombia, Chile, Serbia, Kazakhstan, the Vatican and Ghana.
