With the participation of the Pakistani aid and relief team, the Ministry of Education held a training course for workers in school health and readiness in the cities of Jableh and Lattakia, focusing on first aid in the event of disasters and accidents.
In a statement to SANA correspondent, the Director of School Health at the Ministry of Education, Dr. Hatoon Al-Tawashi, stated that the Pakistani team trained cadres on the devices used in rescue cases, and provided primary health care medicines for school health in the cities of Jableh and Lattakia.
Regarding the response campaign on the mental health of students, Dr. Al-Tawashy indicated that it is being held in cooperation with the World Health Organization, where the organization's trainers are currently holding training courses for nursing staff and doctors in school health and psychological counseling.
Al-Tawashi pointed out that there is a Pakistani medical team consisting of 6 doctors and 4 nurses in Aleppo governorate to inspect the affected people in the shelters, and check on their health condition, in addition to visiting the Aleppo University Hospital, inspecting the injured and injured as a result of the earthquake, and providing the necessary medical services to support the existing medical team. in the hospital.
The Pakistani team visited some shelters in the city of Aleppo, and members of the Pakistani embassy also participated in providing some aid to the affected families residing in those shelters.
