Al-Houthi renews his condemnation of the US-Western siege on Syria

The leader of the Yemeni Ansar Allah movement, Abd al-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, renewed his condemnation of the American-Western blockade on Syria, stressing his solidarity with the Syrian people in their ordeal as a result of the earthquake that hit Syria on the 6th of February.

Al-Houthi said in a speech today: “We repeat our condolences to the Syrian and Turkish peoples for the victims of the earthquake, and we condemn the American-Western blockade on Syria and the weakness of Arab and Islamic cooperation with it to face the repercussions of the earthquake,” calling for breaking the siege and ending the unjust sanctions imposed on Syria.

Al-Houthi indicated that America is working to strike renaissance projects in Syria, Lebanon and other countries in the region, describing the blockade as "collective punishment of peoples" and "the biggest crime against societies," indicating America's role in the suffering of the peoples of the region.

Al-Houthi reaffirmed the steadfastness and steadfastness of the Yemeni people in the face of the Saudi aggression and their confrontation with all tyrants and arrogant aggressors against them.

Al-Houthi added: In any negotiations, we will not accept neglecting the achievements and gains of our people in freedom, independence and dignity, stressing that any path, dialogue or agreement must lead to ending the siege and aggression, the withdrawal of aggression forces from Yemeni territory and the prevention of interference in internal affairs.

Al-Houthi affirmed that the Yemeni people's movements fall within the framework of self-defense, while the steps of aggression violate Yemen's sovereignty and are doomed to inevitable failure, pointing to the permanent readiness of the Yemeni people against all possibilities, including the return of war and escalation at any moment.

With regard to the Palestinian issue, Al-Houthi reaffirmed the Yemeni people's support for the Palestinian people and their resistance against the Israeli occupation, and said: "We, as a Yemeni people, must be ready for all possibilities in Palestine."
