The Arab and international campaign to break the siege imposed on Syria called for expanding relief operations for those affected by the earthquake disaster, and linking them to campaigns to drop the so-called American “Caesar Act” and its annexes.

In a statement it issued after its periodic meeting today, headed by its General Coordinator Magdy Al-Maasrawi, and in the presence of its founding members, the campaign decided to link the existing Arab and international relief campaigns with campaigns to overthrow the “Caesar” law and its annexes, as it is the biggest obstacle in the way of raising relief campaigns to the desired level.

The statement referred to the preparation for an international meeting of members of the campaign from the five continents to develop an international action plan for relief and reconstruction in Syria, leading to the overthrow of the unjust “Caesar” law against Syria, and preparation for an Arab and international legal meeting to study ways of international legal prosecution for everyone who participated in the siege on Syria as a partner. in committing war crimes and crimes against humanity.

The campaign saluted everyone who participated in the relief work for the Syrian people as a result of the devastating earthquake, calling for expanding the relief circle, and expressing its condemnation of the governments and parties that failed to fulfill their duty towards the Syrian people.

The participants in the meeting presented the various relief activities that took place in their countries, “Egypt, Sudan, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Yemen, the Sultanate of Oman, Bahrain, Iraq, Jordan, Palestine, Lebanon and Syria.”

In turn, Dr. Adel Al-Hadithi, Secretary General of the Federation of Arab Engineers, drew attention to the initiatives of the Federation and other Arab professional federations in this regard. Nabil Hallaq, the coordinator of international relations at the Arab International Center for Communication and Solidarity, presented contacts and initiatives undertaken by members of the campaign in the five continents of the world, while the coordinator of the Arab Youth Forum indicated Relief Solidarity Abdullah Abdel Hamid to the broad Arab youth response to the third forum that will be held in Syria in cooperation with the National Union of Syrian Students and the Revolutionary Youth Union.
