Thomas Sabo, the eponymous brand, was created in 1984. The designer wanted to develop joyful and figurative collections.
He started with charm's jewels to accumulate on bracelets or necklaces.
It has even become a line in its own right with the Charm's Club.
The house has always favored handmade work, in its workshops in Germany where the collections are conceptualized.
Manufacturing complies with a demanding charter, which aims to recycle precious materials, reasoned supply and respect for workers.

High fire enamel
The German label has released a video that reveals a little of its know-how, where each piece is handmade.
First there is the 3D design by the creative office.
Then the first wax prototypes are created.
After validation, manufacturing can begin.
The piece comes out raw, it must be polished to find the color of the silver.
Then comes the grand feu enamel stage, followed by setting with zircons selected for their qualities.
The charm's again goes through polishing before being dipped in gold, which gives it its final appearance.
Each season a new collection is available, following the trends and inspirations of Monsieur Sabo.
