According to the Bureau of Transport and Logistics, after the opening of the Blue Tunnel, the traffic queue in the Tseung Kwan O Tunnel has been greatly shortened and the speed of the traffic has also been increased.
The Bureau said that with the development of Area 137, it is believed that the traffic of the Blue Tunnel will also increase.
At the same time, the new bus line of the Jianglan Tunnel is running smoothly, and a special trip of cross-harbour buses passing through the Jianglan Tunnel will be trialled next week.
Tian Beichen is worried that citizens from Tseung Kwan O to Kowloon will continue to use the Tseung Kwan O Tunnel in the future, which will continue to reduce the diversion effect.
