The Argentine Justice sentenced this Friday to the maximum sentence of life imprisonment the two women accused of killing Lucio Dupuy, 5 years old.
Magdalena Espósito Valenti, mother of the minor, was found guilty of the triple qualified homicide of her 5-year-old son, while Abigail Páez, the woman's partner, was accused of the double qualified homicide of the minor and also of sexual abuse with a phallic object.
His defense attorneys appealed the sentence.
Lucio Dupuy has lived since July 2020 with his mother and her partner.
Since then, for Justice, the child was the victim of "a chronic abusive modality."
As established in the verdict, Lucio suffered repeated injuries.
Some of them with "special form of cruelty", narrates the sentence.

The two women hid the terrible injuries on Lucio's body until he died on November 26, 2021.
During the trial, some messages were exposed between the two.
The sentence explains that they demonstrate "the situation of chronic abuse suffered by Lucio Dupuy from the moment he began living with both defendants in July 2020."
