The Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) announced that the number of victims of the earthquake that struck the country on February 6 has risen to 38,000 and 44 people.
And Anatolia Agency quoted “AFAD” as saying in a statement: The number of injured as a result of the earthquake reached 108 thousand and 68, while 216 thousand and 347 people were evacuated from the areas affected by the earthquake.
She pointed out that 4,323 aftershocks occurred after the earthquake that struck Kahramanmaraş in southern Turkey on February 6.
A previous toll indicated that more than 36,000 people were killed in Turkey, as a result of the earthquake, in an indefinite toll.
