With a letter, Fernán Quirós launched himself as a candidate for Buenos Aires head of government

Seeking to get ahead of the rest of the candidates,

launched this afternoon as a pre-candidate for head of Government of the city of Buenos Aires, within the internal PRO, and also facing the electoral discussion within Together for Change.

Quirós made public his intention to be a Buenos Aires candidate through

shortly after 5:00 p.m. In it, he detailed his intentions for the Buenos Aires elections, in which the PRO, until now has other three noted pre-candidates: Jorge Macri, Emmanuel Ferrario and Soledad Acuña.

"A step to take care of what has been done and improve our quality of life", is the title of the letter signed by Fernán Quirós in which he made his candidacy official and addresses the citizens of Buenos Aires.

In it, he highlights that "the learning" of these years "gave me the confidence to work on my candidacy for head of the City Government to take care of and promote what Mauricio and Horacio have achieved so far", in direct quotes to Macri and Rodríguez Larreta, heads of government in the last four terms.

In addition, he stressed that

, I want us to live better in Buenos Aires every day, leaving aside politics that is centered on itself."

And he announced that he will start visiting neighbors in the next few days.

Quirós had already anticipated that he was going to be a candidate in November of last year, but

, in a strategy that aims to consolidate him, at least from the media, as the Buenos Aires candidate of the tandem that will include Horacio Rodríguez Larreta as presidential candidate and Diego Santilli as a candidate for the Buenos Aires governorship.

That apprenticeship gave me the confidence to work on my candidacy for head of the city government to take care of and promote what Mauricio and Horacio have achieved so far.

I thought a lot about this decision together with people I value and I want to be head of government to focus all the management to achieve the integral well-being of people. I want us to live better in Buenos Aires every day, leaving aside politics focused on itself.
