The six young people involved in the attack on the two students of the Michelangelo high school which took place this morning in Florence have been identified as belonging to Student Action: they are three adults and three minors, unrelated to the school.
This is what is explained by the police station.
On the dynamics of what happened at the moment it has been reconstructed, from investigations by Digos, that everything would have originated from a leafleting in front of the school by the young people of Student Action.
This allegedly led to an argument with the two high school students.
So from words we would have moved on to deeds, with the attack on the two students portrayed in a video.
At the moment it would seem, again from the testimonies collected by the police, that the members of Student Action would have attacked: however, investigations are underway on this.
For the six, a report will be triggered for an unannounced demonstration, regarding the leafleting, as for personal injuries, the police are waiting for the two students to file a complaint.
However, a report on the incident will be sent to the judiciary which will be responsible for assessing the hypotheses of crime.
Regarding what happened today, Rita Gaeta, head teacher of the Michelangelo high school in Florence, explained: 'Everything happened in front of the school, not inside and our students and one of our teachers were involved.
As soon as I found out, I called the Digos" which is currently acquiring information from the teacher and the students involved. This is what Rita Gaeta, head teacher of the Michelangelo high school in Florence, explains about what happened this morning in front of the school, in Via della Colonna."
They explained to me that our students have been attacked.
People from outside the school would be involved.
And the teacher intervened seeing what was happening.
The Digos is carrying out investigations". For the mayor of Florence Dario Nardella "a squad attack of this gravity and in front of a school is an intolerable fact.
I spoke" with "the commissioner so that clarity is clarified as soon as possible and those responsible are identified.
#Florence and the school do not deserve such violence".
