The residents in the areas of the demonstrations have difficulty getting used to the noise, traffic jams and dirt, but they manage to see the importance and are ready to pay the price • Yaakov said: "I understand why it is important to come to the demonstrations"

The residents of Tel Aviv have already gotten used to the weekly protest that began in the Bima square, but has since continued to Kaplan Street, which was closed from Ibn Gvirol Street to the entrances to Ayalon Road on the Peace Road. Many of them do experience shouting, noise, traffic jams, garbage and dirt every Shabbat, but they manage to see the importance and willing to pay the price.

Yaakov, who lives on the nearby Laskov Street, rented the apartment at the beginning of January and since then Saturdays have become a kind of curfew for him.

"Listen, in the beginning the demonstration was only in the Bima Square, it was still possible to leave the house, but a week later they moved to Kaplan Street and since then leaving the house became a project for me," said Yaakov.

"But, with what is happening now in the country, I understand why it is important to come to the demonstrations and my suffering is dwarfed compared to what is going to happen, so I have also been coming to the demonstration for the past two weeks."

"It's important to me to fight for the country"

Young people, couples with children and even the elderly come to the demonstration.

Some also come in wheelchairs, one of them is Yosef Cohen, 78 years old from Tel Aviv.

According to him, except for one time when it rained, he came to all the demonstrations.

"As you can see, it's hard for me to get around alone, I harnessed my son who comes with the grandchildren and we all come to the demonstration every week.

"This is how I earn twice, the first time, I see the grandchildren and the second time, I try to do something that might help their future, which currently seems like a lot in the fog. If these laws are passed, I'm afraid to think what will happen to them, I don't have much left, but it's important to me Fight for the country I'm leaving behind."

comes regularly

Yaron arrived from Rishon LeZion for the third week in a row.

He regularly arrives with the Israeli flag and promises to come to the demonstration in Jerusalem on Monday as well.

"The token fell to me a little late, after the elections, when the talk of the legal coup started, I believed it was just talk. Little by little I heard Levin and Rothman's opponent and I realized that the talk is not exaggerated and what is going to happen is terrible and terrible," Yaron said.

"This week was the highlight when I heard David Amsalem in the Knesset, I realized how delusional people they are, and what is important to them is only to crush the justice system. I understand that they will continue with these horrible laws, but at least I can say that I did my best."

The fifth demonstration of the number began at 18:00 with a march attended by thousands of people, led by protest organizations from Dizengoff Square in Tel Aviv towards the main demonstration on Kaplan Street.

The women dressed as "The Handmaid's Tale" characters appeared this evening as well, but one of the new and prominent "attractions" at today's demonstration is a 15-meter-long declaration of independence that is carried by several dozen people.
