The head of the Russian administration of the Snegirivka district of Kherson province, Yuri Barbashov, warned of plans by the Ukrainian regime to discredit the Russian forces.
The Novosti agency quoted Barbashov as saying: The Kiev regime is planning a provocation in the area it controls by using civilians who were killed in the Ukrainian bombing on the grounds that they are victims of Russian forces, explaining that the regional prosecutor of Nikolaev district spoke in a press interview about exhuming 27 bodies of civilians and claiming that they were killed during the operation. The Russian army's takeover of the city is just a prelude to this provocation.
Barbashov stressed that “Ukrainian forces deliberately killed the residents of Snegirivka, and now they are trying to portray the victims of their attacks on the basis that they are victims of the Russian army.” They were interrogated and then released unharmed, which the Ukrainian authorities and the local population are aware of.”
