unknown location, North Korea
North Korea's ruler Kim Jong Un appears in public, but it is particularly interesting who he has with him - namely his daughter.
The North Korean state television shows the performance: For the first time, it is said, Kim Ju Ae, presumably the name of the ten-year-old dictator's daughter, can be seen in public at a non-military event:
A ministerial friendly match was held to mark the birthday of the late leader Kim Jong Il, Shining Star Day, a major holiday in North Korea.
So this time there was a game of football in honor of the family dynasty.
Also in the stands are North Korea's foreign minister, representatives from the defense ministry and the ruler's sister.
The appearance should happen out of calculation.
In recent months, Kim Jong Un has presented his daughter, who has been dubbed a "beloved" or "respected child" by state media, to the public for the first time.
Most recently at a state banquet with high-ranking military officials.
According to analysts, the appearances with the military are no coincidence: Kim Jong Un currently wants to demonstrate that he has no intention of giving up his nuclear arsenal or the decades-long rule of his family dynasty.
According to the South Korean military, North Korea fired another long-range missile at the Sea of Japan.
The shooting down is said to have taken place just days before a planned military maneuver by South Korea and the USA.
Kim Jong Un announced in November that he wanted to make his country the "most powerful nuclear power in the world".
Kim first presented his daughter to the public when the rocket was launched, and since then she has appeared at her father's side several times - like here, at the sporting event.
The family appearance has fueled speculation as to whether Kim wants to position his daughter as a potential successor at the head of state, but for a 39-year-old ruler that would be an early decision.
After all, North Korea has recently paid tribute to the daughter on a series of stamps - some experts see this as an indication that she will be the future No. 1 in the state.
