US Vice President Kamala Harris has accused Russia of massive human rights violations in the Ukraine war.
"Russia has committed crimes against humanity," Harris said in her speech at the Munich Security Conference.
She accused Moscow of murdering, raping and kidnapping Ukrainian children to Russia.
"It's barbaric and inhumane," she says.
Harris said he was "concerned" that China has deepened ties with Moscow since the start of the Ukraine war.
Moscow's support undermines the international rules-based order, she said, warning Beijing against helping Moscow militarily.
This would only support China's aggression.
Relations between Moscow and Beijing have strengthened since the Russian attack.
If Russia succeeds in its war in Ukraine, other authoritarian countries in the world might feel encouraged, she adds.
Time does not play for Vladimir Putin, said the US Vice President.
At the same time, Harris warned that a Russian victory could send a dangerous signal to other authoritarian states.
You might feel spurred on to do the same as Russia.
