Mr. President Bashar al-Assad received a message of condolence and support for Syria from the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, which was conveyed by Ambassador Zabidullah Zabidov, the special envoy of the Tajik President.
President al-Assad considered, during his meeting with Ambassador Zabidov, that the government and people of Tajikistan standing by Syria in this ordeal would have a good impact on the Syrian people, and stressed the importance of developing bilateral relations between the two countries at all levels based on the common interests of the two friendly peoples.
Ambassador Zabidov indicated that his visit comes to confirm Tajikistan's support for Syria and its readiness to provide any assistance to the Syrian people, because in such humanitarian disasters, the countries and peoples of the world must stand by each other, expressing his confidence that the Syrian people are able to overcome this ordeal with the same The determination and firmness with which he faced the terrorist war against his country.
Zabidov stressed Tajikistan's keenness to develop friendly relations with Syria in areas of common interest, considering that Syria's security and stability are essential and necessary for the security and stability of the Middle East region.
