The Acting President of the Donetsk People's Republic, Denis Pushilin, announced that the Russian forces had taken control of the Datchi region, north of the city of Oglidar, which would allow the Kiev regime's forces to be cut off in the Mariinsky direction.
TASS news agency quoted Pushilin as saying today: “In the direction of Ogledar, the forces of the Kiev regime continue to transfer reserves in large quantities.. Regardless of the losses, these forces mobilize all human forces, not just military personnel from the Ukrainian forces,” adding: “We can now say that those The blocks in the northern part of Oglidar are under the control of our forces, which allows these supplies to be cut off.”
Pushlin confirmed that there are many fortified positions for the Ukrainian forces in the vicinity of Ogledar, but the Russian forces are moving forward.
The city of Oglidar is located southwest of Donetsk, and the authorities of the Donetsk Republic indicated that the city is an important logistical center, and controlling it will open opportunities to attack Ukrainian positions in several directions, and will allow cutting off the supply of Ukrainian forces.
