The electronic sports organization ENCE has announced that it is adding Israeli player Guy Nertz Iloz to its ranks, just months before the major BLAST Counter Strike tournament kicks off this May.

Nertz will leave the British team Endpoint where he has played since 2021, and will take up the new position at ENCE in place of the Danish player, Waldemar Valde Bjorn, who was removed from the team due to "disagreements about the style of play".

Ito 'sAw' Saha, the coach of ENCE, congratulated the Israeli player on joining the roster, and did not forget to compliment: "We have been following Nertz's achievements for some time now, and his skills and potential cannot be denied. He will fit into the team well, both in terms of the role and In terms of his personality."

Guy Nertz started his professional career in the local scene and played under the Uniqestars team in the Israel eSports Championship in 2017. They also represented Israel together in the World Championship in South Korea that year, and in 2018 he played together with Shapeshift in Mako's Game In Championship.

He began his journey on the international scene in 2021 when he participated in the FACEIT Europe tournament, where he took first place and returned home with a cash prize of $4,500.

The skills he demonstrated at that tournament greatly impressed Endpoint's scouts, and in the last two years since he signed with them he has been considered a rising talent.

He played under Endpoint in a number of huge tournaments, such as the 16th season of the ESL Pro League last year, and since then he has participated in ESL tournaments and "Champion of Champions" tournaments that included players from all over Europe and selected regions in the Americas.

His current group, ENCE, was formed in 2013, and Nertz is not the only Israeli to have been part of the roster.

Until 2022, the player Lotan Spinx Giladi also played in the team, but last August he signed with the French super club Team Vitality.

Nertz's debut for his new team will be in the Season 17 ESL Pro League tournament next week, where he will face giants such as NAVI, Liquid and Spirit.
