Today, the Syrian Social Nationalist Party in Lebanon organized a meeting in solidarity with the Syrian people under the slogan “Breaking the Siege” in the Lebanese capital, Beirut, in rejection of the so-called (Caesar’s Law) and the unjust American-Western blockade imposed on Syria, and in support of relief efforts for those affected by the earthquake, in the presence of the Chargé d’Affairs of the Syrian Embassy. The meeting included a minute of silence in honor of the victims of the earthquake that hit Syria.

A member of the Supreme Council of the Syrian Social Nationalist Party in Lebanon, Secretary General of the General Conference of Arab Parties, Qassem Saleh, expressed his condolences to the government and people of Syria for the victims of the recent earthquake, wishing the injured a speedy recovery, and said: Breaking the siege imposed on Syria is a national and humanitarian duty that must It is translated into practical steps, represented by launching a broad movement at all levels and condemning the unilateral coercive American measures, as they represent an unprecedented aggression that violates all international norms and covenants, and constitutes a crime against humanity.

In his turn, a member of the Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc, head of the Parliamentary Media and Communications Committee, Representative Dr. Ibrahim Al-Moussawi, said in a speech on behalf of Hezbollah: “Syria was, is, and will always remain a banner, rather a fortress of resistance and victory. The journalist, Roni Alfa, delivered a speech on behalf of the National Media Meeting, in which he said: Our path in Lebanon is not a political path, but rather a moral and national path, indicating that the axis of resistance did not pay attention to the so-called Caesar Act and broke it from the beginning and stood by the Syrian people.

The Chargé d'Affaires of the Syrian Embassy in Lebanon delivered a speech in which he said that despite the years of siege and unilateral coercive measures imposed on the Syrian people, and the repercussions of the terrorist war waged on my country, Syria, for twelve years, since the first moments after the earthquake, the government has mobilized all its institutions. Daghman called on all friendly parties, bodies and activities to intensify efforts and escalate solidarity campaigns with Syria, and to do everything necessary so that the slogan of breaking the siege on Syria becomes a global slogan adopted by all forces opposed to US policy in the region and the world.

The solidarity meeting was attended by the head of the Syrian Social Nationalist Party, Al-Amin Asaad Hardan, the political advisor to the Iranian ambassador to Lebanon, Karm Mushtaki, and representatives of Lebanese and Palestinian parties, organizations, and factions.
