The cliché has a hard life.

Whatever the massif, the animal is making a strong comeback in our mountains.
The cows no longer know the cozy tranquility of a warm winter.
They are now visited by dumbfounded skiers who are no longer repelled by a muddy course.
At La Ferme des Narrows, in Valloire, a village in the Maurienne, skiers can, between two descents,
attend a lesson on local breeds - hardy Tarine and Abondance cows, rare Savoie goats (there are a thousand in France).
