Freising's fire brigades coped well with disaster mode

District Administrator Helmut Petz now officially appointed the district fire inspectors and district fire chiefs and presented them with the certificates.

The "old" are the "new" district fire inspectors and foremen.

"But we will be younger in the coming years because some of you will reach the age limit and leave the inspection," reported District Fire Councilor Danner.

He thanked them for their "cooperation and loyalty over the past six years".

Petz: Everything works perfectly

He actively witnessed about half of this time as district administrator, said Helmut Petz.

District fire council hopes for the realization of the training center

The district fire council emphasized that the first steps towards a fire brigade training and disaster control center had been taken.

"I hope that we will see the groundbreaking ceremony during your term of office," he said in the direction of the district administrator.

In addition to various fires, there have been large-scale operations such as plane crashes and heavy rain events, as well as the snow disaster in Traunstein at the beginning of 2019, when energetic action was taken on site for five days, and the widespread power failure in Moosburg after the storm in June 2022.
