The two teenagers immediately informed their mother, a former emergency nurse, who alerted the emergency services and tried to warm the newborn in her vehicle.

Born only a few minutes ago, the child would be in good health despite hypothermia.

Quickly, the gendarmes went back to a young woman, not yet of age, residing in a house located nearby.

She admitted to denying pregnancy and giving birth in her bathroom.

Panicked, she would then have left the newborn in this ditch on the side of the road.
