Iran strongly condemned the Israeli aggression, which targeted at dawn today points in Damascus and its environs, which resulted in the death of five martyrs and the wounding of 15 others.
And the Iranian news agency, IRNA, quoted Nasser Kanaani, a spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry, as saying, referring to the sequence and coincidence of the new aggression of the Zionist entity on Syrian soil with the terrorist attacks committed by the “ISIS” organization in the eastern countryside of Homs: “The full connection and coordination between these two terrorist entities constitutes An inherent natural relationship between them, and in light of the circumstance in which Syria is facing the effects of the devastating earthquake that occurred on the sixth of this month, these two entities are trying to exacerbate the pain and suffering of the people of this country.
Kanani described the silence of Western countries regarding the repeated Israeli violation of Syria's sovereignty and territorial integrity as shameful, calling on the international community and responsible international institutions, especially the UN Security Council, to take immediate, serious and effective measures to respond to the aggression of the Zionist terrorist regime against a member state of the United Nations.
Five people were killed and 15 others were wounded as a result of an Israeli air attack with bursts of missiles that targeted at dawn today points in and around Damascus, including residential neighbourhoods.
