Kowloon City Police District Anti-Triad Action Group, Miscellaneous Investigation Squad, Special Duties Team and Mobile Force personnel launched an anti-crime operation code-named "LEVINGTON" (LEVINGTON) for two consecutive nights on February 17 and 18, patrolling the area 201 fixed penalty notices were issued to 27 entertainment venues and related violations against valet parking.

In addition, officers also smashed two suspected gambling stalls and a suspected unlicensed massage parlor, arresting 25 people.

All arrested men and women are being detained for questioning.


Kowloon City Police District Special Duty Team members raided a unit at No. 22 Hung Kwong Street at about 3:50 pm on February 17, smashing a suspected illegal mahjong gambling stall.

Officers arrested a 66-year-old man surnamed Zhang suspected of "operating a gambling establishment" in the unit.

Another 3 local men and 1 local woman, aged between 43 and 63, were arrested on suspicion of "gambling in a gambling establishment".

During the operation, officers seized about 1,400 yuan in cash, two electric mahjong tables and four sets of mahjong.

Officers from the Kowloon City Police District Special Duty Team also raided a unit at No. 18 Wuhu Street at about 4:10 pm on February 17 and smashed an unlicensed massage parlor.

Officers arrested a 55-year-old woman surnamed Peng and a 56-year-old man surnamed Peng suspected of "operating an unlicensed massage parlor" in the unit.

Another 10 local women, aged between 42 and 57, were arrested on suspicion of "assisting in the management of unlicensed massage parlors".

During the operation, officers seized about 5,880 yuan in cash, massage oil and bed sheets.

Kowloon City Police District Anti-Triad Action Group and Mobile Force officers found a 52-year-old woman as a wanted person in a mahjong hall at 89 Ma Tau Wai Road yesterday (February 18) at about 9:00 pm. She was arrested.

Officers from the Anti-Triad Action Group of the Kowloon City Police District also raided a unit at No. 32 Pao Chung Street, Hung Hom at about 11:50 pm yesterday, smashing a suspected fishing machine gambling stall.

Officers arrested a 45-year-old man surnamed Chen suspected of "operating a gambling establishment" in the unit.

Another five local men and one local woman, aged between 44 and 57, were arrested on suspicion of "gambling in a gambling establishment".

During the operation, officers seized 4 fishing machines and a card reader.
