Lebanese personalities and parties condemned the Israeli aggression that targeted residential areas in and around Damascus, killing five people and wounding 15 others.
The General Secretariat of the General Conference of Arab Parties denounced this heinous crime and demanded that the perpetrators be held accountable, renewing its support for Syria and its army in its endeavor to liberate all its lands.
It called on the Secretariat to condemn these heinous crimes, hold their perpetrators accountable, and denounce the dubious international and Arab silence on them.
In turn, the Progressive Arab Front said: “The Zionist enemy reaffirms its criminal and racist nature and its hidden hatred.
The Front condemned the silence of the United Nations on the flagrant violation of international law and the rights of the Syrian people to security and national sovereignty, calling for support for the Palestinian and Syrian peoples in the face of repeated Zionist attacks.
For his part, the head of the National Solidarity Meeting, Mustafa Malas, condemned the aggression and said: “The Zionist enemy bombed civilians in Damascus after the devastating earthquake, to reveal once again its true face as a barbaric gang.”
Malas expressed the solidarity of the National Gathering with Syria and its stand by it, denouncing the international silence regarding the crimes committed by the Zionist enemy.
For his part, the founding president of the Arab National Forum and the head of the Arab International Center for Communication and Solidarity, Maan Bashour, condemned the Israeli aggression and said: “We are witnessing one battle, the repercussions of which extend from Syria, Palestine and Lebanon to include all countries of the nation from the ocean to the Gulf and the free people of the world,” calling for lifting the unjust Western blockade on Syria in particular. In Spain, the official of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine and Vice-President of the Union of Palestinian Communities in Europe, Dr. Majed Al-Dabsi, expressed his strong condemnation of the Israeli aggression, pointing out that the criminal practices of the Zionist enemy, its cowardly attacks, and its exploitation of the suffering of the Syrian people as a result of the devastating earthquake will not succeed in undermining the steadfastness of the Syrian people and leadership. The official of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine in Spain called on all Palestinian and friendly forces and factions to work together and seriously to lift the coercive and unjust siege imposed by the United States of America and the European Union on the Syrian people.
The central delegate of the Syrian Social Nationalist Party in Spain, Faisal Kawash, also denounced the barbaric Israeli aggression against civilian institutions and residential areas in Damascus, stressing that it is a criminal act and a clear and flagrant violation of all international covenants, human rights laws and the protection of civilians stipulated by the United Nations.
Kawash pointed out that this Israeli aggression coincided with the terrorist attack launched by the “ISIS” organization against civilians, which exposes and reveals the close relationship between the two terrorist entities and the joint coordination between them in shedding Syrian blood and killing innocent people.
