Today, partisan delegations continued to flock to the headquarters of the Syrian diplomatic mission in Egypt for the second week in a row, to offer condolences for the martyrs of the devastating earthquake that struck Syria on the 6th of this month.
The head of the Generation Party, Naji al-Shihabi, and a delegation of party leaders confirmed during their visit to the Syrian embassy in Cairo that this humanitarian catastrophe in Syria struck everyone like a thunderbolt, especially in light of the circumstances that Syria is going through from an unfair economic blockade imposed by the United States of America and those with it, calling for an end to this blockade. immediately and stop the unilateral Western coercive measures.
The delegation of the Generation Party affirmed that what Zionism and the United States of America did of siege and destruction in Syria and their attempt to isolate it will end in failure and the victory of the Syrian state.
For their part, the members of the Syrian diplomatic mission thanked the delegation of the Generation Party, stressing that the return of work and Arab solidarity is a sure goal, pointing to Syria's efforts to end the humanitarian crisis despite the siege imposed on it, and that hope is born from the womb of the crisis.
The delegation of the Generation Party included Naji al-Shihabi, head of the party and general coordinator of the National Coalition of Egyptian Political Parties, Abd al-Samad Suleiman, deputy head of the party, Mushaira Hussein, assistant general secretary and women’s secretary, Ahmed Mohsen Qassem, secretary of organization, Abd al-Karim Abd al-Monsef Laila, treasurer, and Ali Hamada, secretary of workers. Ali Qaoud, member of the Supreme Committee.
In another context, the Generation Party issued a statement this morning denouncing the Israeli aggression, which targeted at dawn the inhabited residential neighborhoods of the city of Damascus and its surroundings, which led to deaths and injuries.
Al-Shihabi called on the Algerian president, in his capacity as president of the current session of the Arab summit, secretary of the Arab League and secretary-general of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, to call for a high-level meeting of all Arab and Islamic countries at the level of presidents, kings and princes, to be attended by Syria, in order to take decisions that force the Israeli enemy to stop its brutal attacks on the Syrian and Palestinian peoples. And stop building settlements on the occupied land and break the siege on Syria and its aid to overcome the ordeal of the devastating earthquake.
