(ANSA) - MILAN, FEBRUARY 19 - A huge swastika made with wooden poles appeared today near the Monument to the Deported in the North Milan Park, in the part that falls within the Municipality of Bresso.
To make it, a part of the fence was torn down.
The monument had already been vandalized on 16 February.
The investigations of the Carabinieri company of Sesto San Giovanni (Milan) have already started on the matter, which have proceeded to inform the judicial authority.
The provincial president of the PNA, Roberto Cenati, denounced today's episode.
"It is a very serious fascist provocation - he said - which constitutes a shameful outrage to all those who lost their lives following deportation to Nazi concentration camps, for having chosen to fight against the atrocities of Nazi-fascism".
"
We ask the public authorities - added the exponent of the Anpi - to do everything possible to identify those responsible for this despicable act and to prevent it from happening again.
For our part, we will maintain our vigilance in defense of democracy born of the Resistance, whose most precious legacy is our Constitutional Charter". Meanwhile, for the next few days, the anti-fascist associations of the area have announced demonstrations near the monument, of which the last February 16, the display case in Dacau was damaged.
