The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs renewed its call for the UN Security Council to intervene immediately to stop the Israeli occupation's ongoing crimes and violations against the Palestinian people, especially its plans aimed at perpetuating Judaization and settlement in the West Bank.

In a statement today reported by Wafa Agency, the Foreign Ministry condemned the policy of Itamar bin Gvir, the minister in the occupation government, against the Palestinians, their sanctities, their neighborhoods, their towns, and their homes in occupied Jerusalem, which is based on imposing more collective punishments on them, deepening ethnic cleansing operations, and depends on expanding the circle of crimes of demolishing homes and facilities and imposing closures on them. Palestinian areas in the Holy City, in addition to the campaign of mass arrests, repression and abuse of the Palestinians.

The Foreign Ministry considered that this racist colonial policy of Ibn Ghafir in committing more crimes and escalating in the arena of conflict in general and in Jerusalem in particular will not be able to break the will of the Jerusalemites to stand firm and defend their holy city, the capital of the State of Palestine, which is an integral part of the Palestinian territory occupied in 1967. .

For his part, a member of the Political Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization confirmed that what the occupation is doing in Jerusalem, specifically in Shuafat, Anata, Al-Makbar, Al-Isawiya, and the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, is organized state terrorism and collective punishment for the owners of the land and Al-Aqsa, and ethnic cleansing and literal implementation of the apartheid system.

Al-Qawasmi stressed in a statement that the Palestinian people will not kneel, no matter how much pressure increases, and it has proven through the stages of its struggle against the occupier that it is able to stand up to the frenzied campaigns targeting its existence and its land, and that the only solution is the full recognition of its rights, especially Jerusalem, the capital of the State of Palestine.
