Almost a year after the launch of the Russian offensive in Ukraine, this country enjoys wide popularity in Europe.
The "good opinion" of Ukraine fluctuates between 61% in Germany and 82% in the United Kingdom, while symmetrically, the popularity of Russia only concerns at best 23% of the Italian population and drops to just 9% in Poland.
If European opinions are therefore quite convergent, we note however, on this question as on the others asked in this survey, that nuances are emerging in the intensity of the popularity of Ukraine and the rejection of Russia.
We note that two countries seem particularly favorable to Ukraine: the United Kingdom (82% of good opinion of Ukraine) and Poland (79%), followed closely by Spain (74%) and the Netherlands (71%).
