Located in Southeast Asia, Burma, also known as Myanmar, is subject to a tropical climate, punctuated by three seasons.

The hot season, from March to May, has high temperatures of around 35°C.

When is the best time to visit Bagan and Mandalay?

Climb to the top of Mandalay Hill for a breathtaking view of the surrounding monasteries and towns.

Located on the banks of the Irrawaddy, Mandalay is Burma's second largest city.

It is best visited from the beginning of December to the beginning of February, when the average temperature is 27°C.

Mandalay is a lively city, famous for its many pagodas: Shwedagon, Mahamuni, Kuthodaw or Phayargyi.

Visit the Shwenandaw and Shwe In Bin monasteries, the Royal Palace as well as the Zegyo market.

Also take the time to walk up the hill of Mandalay, which will offer you a breathtaking view from its 224 meters.

When is the best time to visit Inle Lake?

In the center of Burma, Inle Lake is bordered by floating villages.

Jewel of the country, Inle Lake can be discovered from January to April, with an average of 32°C, and from November to December, with an average of 24°C.

Located in the south of Burma but not exactly on the coast, Yangon is both the economic capital and the largest city in the country.

This former capital, which gave way to the amazing Naypyidaw, can be visited from January to March, and from November to December.

If the temperatures are high with an average of 33°C, the months of June to September are not recommended because of frequent rainfall.

Yangon is a dynamic city, as you will notice in its downtown area.
