At least 14 people were killed and 63 others injured when a bus overturned in the Punjab province of eastern Pakistan.
And the Associated Press quoted the local deputy commissioner, Qara-ul-Ain Malik, as saying today: that the excessive speed caused a passenger bus to overturn on the highway in the Kalar Khar district in the region, killing 14 passengers on board and injuring 63 others, who were taken to hospital for treatment. .
Malik indicated that an investigation has been opened into the incident.
Earlier this month, three people were killed in Punjab, and 12 others were injured, in a passenger car collision with a truck.
