Less than two days after the first incident, strangers broke into the Karlheinz Böhm elementary and middle school in Vaterstetten and destroyed the furniture.

According to the police, it was probably the same perpetrators who smashed the window of a door to get into the building this time.

On Sunday afternoon, February 19, an employee of the school discovered the damage.

Several rooms were completely devastated and several items and furnishings were destroyed.

In addition, the panes were smashed from several windows in the school building.

The damage from the repeated offense is estimated by the police at 20,000 euros.

– Several reports were received by the police in Poing around 8 p.m. last Friday.

According to the police, witnesses saw at least three young people, all dressed in black, run away in the direction of the small grove southeast of the school.

One of the perpetrators wore black Adidas jogging pants with white stripes. According to the police, the previously unknown perpetrators threw in the triple pane of glass in the staff room with a manhole cover that had been dug up nearby in order to get inside.

Room was literally devastated

The room was then literally devastated.

Among other things, the perpetrators damaged two large photocopiers.

Drawers were ripped out, computers thrown on the floor, furniture such as tables and chairs overturned, several coffee mugs thrown down and coffee spilled on the floor.

The material damage caused was estimated at at least 15,000 euros.

According to the current state of knowledge, neither money nor valuables were stolen.

Police are looking for witnesses

The caretaker was able to provisionally secure the pane.
