Damascus-SANA
Temperatures continue to rise slightly to become 3 to 5 degrees Celsius higher than their average, as a result of the country being affected by a weak extension of a surface air elevation associated with western currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
And the General Directorate of Meteorology expected, in its bulletin this morning, that the weather will be between clear and partly cloudy in general, turning to cloudy during the night hours over the northwest and coastal regions, so that the opportunity is ripe for showers of rain in those areas.
The weather will be cold at night, warning of fog formation in the central region during the early morning hours, and the occurrence of frost and ice in the mountain heights. The winds will be westerly to southwesterly, light in speed, while it will be southeasterly, moderate in speed in the eastern regions and the island, and the sea is light in wave height.
Tomorrow, temperatures will tend to drop while remaining slightly above average, and the weather will be partly cloudy in general, with the opportunity still ripe for light showers of rain in the coastal region and parts of the northwestern region, and the weather will be cold at night and warns of fog formation in the central and northwest region within hours. Early morning and the occurrence of frost and ice in the mountain heights.
