The joint leadership of the People's Democratic Party and the Arab Socialist Action Party in Lebanon condemned the Israeli aggression that targeted residential neighborhoods in Damascus and its environs at dawn yesterday, killing five people and wounding 15 others.
The joint leadership of the two parties stated in a statement, a copy of which SANA received, that this attack constitutes a crime against humanity, and confirms the aggressive nature of the Zionist colonial entity, pointing to its integration with the crime of the unjust blockade imposed on Syria, which impedes the delivery of humanitarian aid to the afflicted by the earthquake disaster.
The statement affirmed that the bets of Syria's enemies are doomed to failure due to the steadfastness of the axis of resistance, calling on the Arab national and progressive forces and free people in the world to launch campaigns of support and popular solidarity with Syria and its people.
In turn, the Council of Palestinian Scholars in Lebanon and abroad condemned the criminal Israeli aggression against Syria.
In a statement, the Council affirmed that this terrorist attack constitutes a new chapter in the shameful and disgraceful practices that the Israeli enemy continues to commit.
