In Enkirch, a local community on the Moselle, there was a serious accident.

As the police explained in a press release, the incident happened as follows: On Sunday (February 19), officials were alerted and called to an accident on the B53 near Enkirch.
A young man was a passenger on a tractor.
This pulled a carnival float, with which the inmates had previously been on the carnival parade in Enkirch.
Serious accident after the carnival parade: man rolled over by a trailer
The accident finally happened while driving on the B53.
The young man "slid off the tractor while driving and fell onto the road, where he was immediately run over by the twin-axle trailer," police said.
According to the officials, the man was "clearly intoxicated".
He was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the carnival tractor had no abnormalities with regard to possible alcohol or drug consumption.
Rescue helicopters, DRK and an emergency doctor were on site.
The road was temporarily closed.
