Numerous local clubs got really creative again.
The SpVgg Mauern footballers celebrated the return of passion (“Never again Qatar – football is for everyone”), TC Mauern brought out the hippies for “Love and Peace” and the Mauern ski club pulled out the eerily beautiful Halloween ( Addams family through the place.
And then there are the rural youth, whose gigafest of consecrating the flag was legendary.
The car of the young local party beasts bounced over the street more than it rolled.
