Yesterday (20th) around 11pm, the authorities received a report from a woman, saying that her 68-year-old father, surnamed Huang, had left his apartment in Yuhuo Street, Tin Wan yesterday afternoon, went hiking in Aberdeen Reservoir, lost contact and disappeared.


According to the information provided by the victim's family, the rescuers searched along the Shek Pai Wan Village to Aberdeen Reservoir, including firefighters, ambulancemen, civil security forces, police and two members of the volunteer "Country Volunteer Search Team (CVST)" Search and rescue ranks.


As of 2:00 a.m. today (21st), search and rescue personnel found an unconscious man on the mountainside near the main dam of Aberdeen Reservoir. The ambulance crew confirmed that the man was obviously dead on the spot, and the firefighters assisted in removing the body of the deceased The location at the exit of the Lower Reservoir in Aberdeen, waiting for the body to be delivered to the mortuary.

The police contacted his family members to identify the body at the scene. They were initially identified as the missing man surnamed Huang.


During the waiting period, a wild boar was wandering nearby, and the police officers took out their shields to be on guard.
