Iraqi forces arrested an ISIS leader in the capital, Baghdad.
Al-Sumaria News website quoted the Security Media Cell as saying in a statement today: “The security forces in Baghdad were able to arrest a dangerous terrorist in the Dora area of Baghdad who was leading one of the ISIS terrorist gangs in Salah al-Din Governorate.”
Yesterday, the Iraqi forces announced the launch of the second phase of Operation “Swords of Righteousness” to pursue the remnants of “ISIS” terrorists in the north of the country.
