At least at this stage, it does not seem to move the Minister of Justice Yariv Levin and his voice in the Constitutional Committee Simcha Rothman.
They are in a rush to realize the legal revolution.
They intend to bring two major laws to the first reading today - changing the composition of the committee for selecting judges, and limiting the power of the High Court of Justice to invalidate laws.

Against this background, it is appropriate to dwell on the voices coming from the Biden administration.
It is not impossible that Netanyahu is very happy about the American intervention in the matter, and I would not be surprised if it turns out that he even encouraged such an intervention in his conversation with the American Secretary of Defense, Lincoln.
Allegedly, they talked about training settlements and issuing a yellow card to Israel, but it is not impossible that reform also came up in the conversation.
Netanyahu knows how much Israel's security depends on America.
Without American aid and security cooperation, Israel will be stuck in a problematic security reality.
That is why he did not go against the words of President Biden, who said last week in an interview with the "New York Times" that the values of democracy are common to both countries.
In the meantime, he also did not go against the words of the US ambassador to Israel, Tom Neides, who in an interview on the weekend with CNN said that the Biden administration told Netanyahu: press the brakes.

The subtext is clear - we are your parents.
Without us you are in danger.
We will not use the veto in the UN, and a series of other things without which Israel will not be as we know it, and with one like this it is not certain that we want a close friendship.
It's sad to say this, but since the two parts of the people are unable to talk, and since President Herzog failed in his attempt to bring a stop to the legislation as a condition for talks - we are looking west, to the USA, because maybe salvation will come from there.
This is no longer the line from the anthem "Ein Lezion Zofia", but an eye to the USA.
